The Palm Springs Aerial Tramway—the world’s largest rotating tram car—travels over two-and-one-half miles along the breathtaking cliffs of Chino Canyon, transporting riders to the pristine wilderness of the Mt. San Jacinto State Park. During your approximately ten-minute journey, tram cars rotate slowly, offering picturesque and spectacular vistas of the valley floor below. Once you reach the Mountain Station—elevation 8,516 feet—enjoy two restaurants, observation decks, natural history museum, two documentary theaters, gift shop and over 50 miles of hiking trails.

During your tour, you'll have the opportunity to explore the base's impressive facilities, including state-of-the-art training grounds, cutting-edge equipment, and historic landmarks. Gain insight into the rigorous training regimens and specialized operations conducted by Marines stationed at 29 Palms, as well as their critical role in defending our nation's freedom. The Tour will include visitation to Training Areas, Simulators, and MOUT Town.

The week will end with a banquet to enjoy the accomplishments of the convention and to raise your glass in toast to the bonds of brotherhood forged throughout the convention, and pay tribute to the unwavering spirit of service that defines our Marine Corps community.
